SuperTherm ® application-instructions

General conditions SuperTherm ®

• SuperTherm ® is a water based coating and should be protected against frost.
• SuperTherm ® must be mixed just for 2 minutes and is ready for use.
• SuperTherm ® should not be diluted!
• To achieve an optimal result, the temperature during the application of Super Therm ® located between 5 ° c and 40 ° c.
• There may not be performed outside in rainy weather or when the application is likely to rain.
• If outside used at high humidity or if, after applying SuperTherm ® constant rains, it is possible that there are bubbles on the coating.
  NEVER puncture This blow! This is a normal effect since Super Therm ® is water based. When the atmosphere is less humid and dry coating will blow will erase and easily attach after the normal curing period.

Preparation of the surface

• SuperTherm ® adheres to all metal, wood, roofing, PU-foam, concrete, masonry, PVC and polyester.
• Loose as flaking paint, rust, old paint layers, grease, oil, waxy substances, dirt, etc. must be thoroughly removed from the Super Therm ® to treat surfaces.
• High-pressure cleaning (240 bar) with water and citrus cleaner or light sandblasting are sufficient.
• If the surface is smooth or excels, it must first be opgeschuurd with sandpaper or mechanical brush.
• Take away all dust and clean. The surfaces that oxidation should be treated with RestGrip ® separately.
• Too porous or dry surfaces (concrete, roofing) first treat with SUPER BASE primer.
• The surfaces must be clean and dry before the Super Therm ® application.
• Surfaces that are affected by salts (seawater) must first be neutralised with CHLOR-RID.

Application Method SuperTherm ®

• SuperTherm ® can best be applied with airless or air spraying paint or paint brush, but can also.
• In application of SuperTherm ® with a paint brush or paint, it is necessary to make two layers in order to obtain the required thickness (250 micron).
• In application with the role can best be used a lamsvachtrol of 8 cm diameter.
• Do not make any single thick layer SuperTherm ®, this can cause cracks in the coating.
• Crosswise second layer SuperTherm ® application after a drying time of 1 to 2 hours depending on the ambient temperature.
• Application with airless requires a carbon steel head of 0.73 mm to 0.81 mm (0.021 to 0.032 inch) and a pressure of 180 to 200 bar.
• All filters, both in suction line if in pistol must be removed. Material cleaning with SOAP and water.
